About Us
Nicole Levine has extensive experience in the Bay Area private and nonprofit sectors, with a special emphasis on economic development.

Her professional background includes serving as the interim executive director for Urban Solutions and the Oakland Ballet, providing microloans to small business owners in the East Bay, training low-income women to start up their own businesses, and serving as the Executive Director of Wardrobe for Opportunity.

Leveraging her experience in the nonprofit sector, she has helped HP, Agilent and Chevron strengthen their community and grant making programs.

Nicole grew up in San Francisco and began volunteering in the Tenderloin at age 15, an experience which led to a lifelong passion for community involvement. She earned an MBA from UC Davis, where she founded a Net Impact chapter and co-founded the Community Consulting Group to enable MBA students to provide free consulting to nonprofits. She is honored to be on the advisory board of the BAWCC and on the Board of Directors of CEO Women.

“As Urban Solutions' interim executive director,  Nicole quickly gained the support of the staff and board with her enthusiasm, ability to see the big picture, and implementation of critical projects.”
